Mother of Millions Foundation was established to provide charitable support to various causes throughout Zambia.

Mother of Millions Foundation (MoMF) has been operating since 2013, working in prisons in Zambia to protect the rights of incarcerated women as well as their children incarcerated with them.

Within prisons, these children face harsh conditions with no amenities provided to meet even their most basic needs. In response to this situation, MoMF has stepped in to address the specific needs of children and is actively committed to bring a sustainable solution to the identified problems

Meet Mirriam Lishandu

Mirriam Lishandu is an Environmental Health Officer in Mongu Western Province. Her voluntary role in the organization is to provide health education support and psychosocial counselling to women within and outside the correctional facility.

Meet Mr. Ngenda Mukelabai

Mr Ngenda Mukelabai is the Regional Coordinator for Mother of Millions Foundation in Western Province. He is a project specialist, a Social worker with vast experience in his field. He also holds a diploma in theology from the Evangelical Bible College and serves the organization with diligence. We value and appreciate you Mr Mukelabaib.

[VIDEO] - Soniya is a Grade 11 Student from California USA. She was attached to Mother of Millions Foundation, Inspire Schools Project for Girls and Boys, an initiative that provides Mentorship and Personal Development among high school students school and to keep them out of conflict with the law.

Through this programme, Mother of Millions Foundation brings together young people who have excelled in their various careers to offer peer to peer mentorship. Soniya, in partnership with Mother of Millions Foundation has initiated a project of improving menstrual care and hygiene through through the making of reusable pads.

Whilst in the US, Soniya undertook a fundraising campaign in which she raised funds which enabled the purchase of an industrial sewing machine which at the moment, is being used to make re-usable pads which will allow 1600 girls to benefit from the project. To enhance our reintegration of ex-inmates who have reformed after incarceration, Mother of Millions has empowered an ex-offender who is spearheading the production of the pads and it is gratifying to see the quality of the reusable pads that are being made.
